ORDINANCE No. 365
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 175, APPROVING ZONING
APPLICATION NO. OZ -74 CHANGING THE ZONING OF A TRACT CON-
TAINING 1.37 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, IN THE NW/4 OF THE NW /4
OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE
INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN IN TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, ACCORD-
ING TO THE U.S. GOVERNMENT SURVEY THEREOF, FROM AG
AGRICULTURE TO CS COMMERCIAL SHOPPING, AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for
rezoning the property herein described, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of _
the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the </I(�
requested rezoning of OZ-74.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO,
OKLAHOMA.
SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the following described
property, to wit:
The North 260.00 feet of the West 230.00 feet of Section Eight
(8), Township Twenty -one (21) North, Range Fourteen (14) East
of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, State of Okla-
homa, according to the United States Government survey thereof,
LESS AND EXCEPT highway right -of -way, being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Section 8; thence
South 89° 48' 20" East along the north line of said Section 8
a distance of 230.00 feet; thence South 0° 00'00" East a dis-
tance of 31.39 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing
South 0° 00'00" East a distance of 228.61 feet; thence North
89° 48' 20" West a distance of 199.26 feet; thence North 0° 06'
14" East along Highway R/W line a distance of 79.13 feet; thence
North 0° 21' 21" East a distance of 0.00 feet; thence along a
curve to the right and said R/W line, said curve having a
radius 150.00 feet and a central angle of 89° 42' 22 ", a distance
of 234.85 feet; thence South 89° 41' 10" East along said R/W line
a distance of 48.96 feet to the point of beginning.
and the same is hereby rezoned from an AG Agriculture to a CS
Commercial Shopping district classification.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby, expressly repealed.
