CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA
ORDINANCE NO. 403
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, ADDING AND ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, ADDITIONAL LANDS AND TERRITORY IN SECTION
21, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PROVIDING THAT FROM
AND AFTER THE PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE THAT
ALL OF THE REAL PROPERTY WITHIN SAID TERRITORY HEREIN
DESCRIBED SHALL BE A PART OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
AND FURTHER DECLARING THAT ALL PERSONS RESIDING THEREIN
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION, CONTROL, LAWS, AND
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, ESTABLISHING THE
SAME AS PART OF WARD THREE OF SAID CITY, AND DIRECTING THE
FILING OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 11, Section
21.101, et seq., of the Statutes of the State of Oklahoma, the
City of Owasso may annex territory adjacent and contiguous to the
City upon presentation of a petition for annexation from persons
constituting not less than three - fourths of the registered voters
and being the owners of not less than three - fourths, in value, in
the real estate to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, persons constituting not less than three - fourths of
the registered voters and being the owners of not less than
three - fourths, in value, in the real estate situated in Tulsa
County, Oklahoma, described as:
The Northwest Quarter or the Northwest Quarter (NW/4
NW/4) less the West 509.84 feet thereof and less the
North 33 feet thereof, all in Section 21, Township 21
North, Range 14 East, Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa
County, Oklahoma
AND
The South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S/2 NW/4) and the
North Half of the Southwest Quarter (N/2 SW/4) of Section
21, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, less and except a
tract commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW/4 NW/4) of Section 21;
thence North 89°53'14" East along the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW/4 NW/4) a
distance of 33.0 feet to the Point of beginning; thence
North 89°53'14" East a distance of 580.80 feet; thence due
South a distance of 300.00 feet; thence South 89°53'14" West
a distance of 580.80 feet to a point 33.00 feet East of the
West line of Section 21; thence due North a distance of 300'
to the point of beginning

AND
The West Half of the Northeast Quarter (W/2 NE/4) of Section
21, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, less and
except the North 854.12 feet of East 600.27 feet of the West
Half of the Northeast Quarter (W/2 NE/4) of Section 21,
being territory adjacent and contiguous to the incorporated City
of Owasso, Oklahoma, and not presently embraced within the limits
thereof, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma, to annex the said real estate into the City of Owasso,
and,
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Owasso has
determined that the annexation of the real property hereinabove
described is necessary, reasonable and desirable in the public
interest of the residents and citizens of the City of Owasso;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the petition of persons
constituting not less than three - fourths of the voters and being
the owners of not less than three - fourths, in value, of the
following described real property lying in Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, and property to-wit:
The Northwest Quarter or the Northwest Quarter (NW/4
NW/4) less the West 509.84 feet thereof and less the
North 33 feet thereof, all in Section 21, Township 21
North, Range 14 East, Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa
County, Oklahoma
AND
The South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S/2 NW/4) and the
North Half of the Southwest Quarter (N/2 SW/4) of Section
21, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, less and except a
tract commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW /4 NW /4) of Section 21;
thence North 89°53'14" East along the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW/4 NW/4) a
distance of 33.0 feet to the Point of beginning; thence
North 89°53'14" East a distance of 580.80 feet; thence due
South a distance of 300.00 feet; thence South 89°53'14" West
a distance of 580.80 feet to a point 33.00 feet East of the
West line of Section 21; thence due North a distance of 300'
to the point of beginning
AND
The West Half of the Northeast Quarter (W/2 NE/4) of Section
21, Township 21 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, less and

except the North 854.12 feet of East 600.27 feet of the West
Half of the Northeast Quarter (W/2 NE/4) of Section 21,
same being territory contiguous to the incorporated City of
Owasso, Oklahoma and not presently embraced within the limits
thereof, be, the above described land is hereby annexed to, made
a part of, and added to the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and the
Corporate Limits thereof be, and are hereby extended to include
the above described territory and real estate.
SECTION 2. That from and after the passage and publication
of this Ordinance, the real estate and territory described in
Section 1 hereof shall be a part of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma,
designated AG (Agricultural) zoning, pursuant to the ordinances
of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and in Ward Three thereof, and
all persons residing therein, and all property situated thereon,
shall be and are hereby declared to be subject to the
jurisdiction, control, laws and ordinances of the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma, in all respects and particulars.
SECTION 3. That there be filed in the Office of the County
Clerk of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, a true and correct copy of this
ordinance.
