HomeMy WebLinkAbout405_Amend Part 13 Ch 2_Fire Run Charges Outside the City LimitsBOOK 5207 PAGE 611 835136 CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA ORDINANCE NO. 405 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART 13-PUBLIC SAFETY, CHAPTER 2 -FIRE DEPARTMENT, ARTICLE B- MUTUAL AID AND CALLS OUTSIDE LIMITS, SECTION 13-222 - CHARGES FOR OUTSIDE AID, REPEALING SECTION 13 -222 SUBSECTION 3 AND IN LIEU THEREOF / SUBSTITUTING AMENDATORY LANGUAGE DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA THAT; SECTION 1. That Part 13-Public Safety, Chapter 2 -Fire Department, Article B- Mutual Aid and Calls Outside Limits, Section 13 -222, Subsection 3 providing as follows, to -wit: The total amount earned by the attendance of any and all such apparatus and personnel shall be paid to the City Clerk of the City in the total amount so paid and shall be credited to the general fund of the City, be and same is hereby is repealed, And, in lieu thereof there be substituted the following language, to -wit: The total amount earned by the attendance of any and all such apparatus and personnel as charged under the provisions of Subsection 1 and 2 above shall not exceed the sum of $1,000.00. If and in the event attendance of apparatus and personnel is required at the fire scene for a time period in excess of that which would result in a charge therefore in the amount of $1000.00, all such additional time spent by such apparatus and personnel shall be, in addition to the $1000.00, assessed and charged on the basis of actual costs incurred by the Owasso Fire Department. Such sums of money shall be paid to the City Clerk of the City and the total amount so paid shall be credited to the General Fund of the City. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after its initial publication as provided by state law. DATED THIS 15th day of August, 1989. Patricia K.
