HomeMy WebLinkAbout409_Amend Part 12 Section 12-201_Reducing Parking Spaces from 10' to 9'851501 BOOK 5219 PAGE 18 CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA ORDINANCE NUMBER 409 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART TWELVE (12) PLANNING, ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT, CHAPTER TWO (2) ZONING REGULATIONS, SECTION 12 -201 ZONING REGULATIONS ADOPTED, CHAPTER ELEVEN (11), OFF STREET PARKING AND OFF STREET LOADING, AMENDING SAME IN PARTICULAR SECTION 1140(A)- DESIGN STANDARDS FOR OFF STREET PARKING AREAS BY REDUCTION OF THE REQUIRED SIZE OF OFF STREET PARKING SPACE FROM TEN (10) FEET BY TWENTY (20) FEET TO NINE (9) FEET BY TWENTY (20) FEET, AMENDING CHAPTER SIXTEEN (16)- DEFINITIONS BY AMENDING SAME IN PARTICULAR SECTION 1600 PERTAINING TO DEFINITION OF PARKING SPACE, OFF STREET TO BE A SPACE A LEAST NINE (9) FEET IN WIDTH BY TWENTY (20) FEET IN LENGTH, REPEALING PORTIONS INCONSISTENT HEREWITH, DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT: Section One (1). That Part 12, Planning, Zoning and Development, Chapter 2, Zoning Regulations, Section 12 -201, Chapter 11, Off Street Parking and Off Street Loading Section 1140(a) thereof relating to design standards for off street parking areas as well as Chapter 16, Definitions Section 1600 thereof relating to definitions, should be, and same hereby are, amended to provide that such parking space shall be at least Nine (9) feet in width by Twenty (20) feet in length. Section Two (2). That all Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Those portions consistent herewith remain unaffected hereby. Section Three (3).
