ORDINANCE NUMBER 434
CITY OF OWASSO, OKLHAOMA
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDINGFOR DISSOLUTION OF A
TRUST AND AGENCY FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYMENT OF WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIMS
HERETOFORE EXISTING BY VIRTUE OR ORDINANCE
NUMBER 396 AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
SAME, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OWASSO, OKALAHOMA, THAT:
Section One: The trust and agency fund heretofore established by the City of Owasso,
Oklahoma, pursuant to Ordinance Number 396 is dissolved; and the City Treasurer is hereby
authorized to transfer any remaining funds therein into the General Fund.
Section Two: By reason of the fact that postponement of the effectiveness of this
Ordinance could result in the loss of monies for the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and /or the
postponement of payment of legitimate claims for medical services and supplies arising from
claims against the Workers Compensation Self Insurance Fund, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist whereby the provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective upon the date of first
publication of this Ordinance.
