HomeMy WebLinkAbout439_Terination of the Owasso Industrial Authority_Defunct5374 2043 92 004104 ORDINANCE NUMBER 439 CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMINATION OF THE OWASSO INDUSTRIAL AUTHORITY, AN OKLAHOMA PUBLIC TRUST HAVING THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, AS ITS BENEFICIARY, DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on the 18th day of November, 1980, the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, accepted the beneficial interest in and to the Owasso Industrial Authority, an Oklahoma public trust created pursuant to the laws of the State of Oklahoma, 60 O.S. §176 et seq.; WHEREAS, the Owasso Industrial Authority, by virtue of the Trustees thereof, are desirous of the termination of said Trust; and, WHEREAS, there does not exist any outstanding contractual obligations chargeable against the Trust property, which, by reason of such termination, might become an obligation of the beneficiary, the City of Owasso, Oklahoma. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY o OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT: r Section One: presents approve Authority, a public its beneficiary. The City of Owasso, Oklahoma, does by these the termination of the Owasso Industrial trust, having the City of Owasso, Okiahorna, as Section Two: This Ordinance shall, upon passage, become effective thirty (30) days from the date of first publication as provided by state law.
