HomeMy WebLinkAbout442_Raising Water Rates5374 1336 92 003726 ORDINANCE NUMBER 442 CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA TULSA COUNTY CLERK AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE WATER RATES AS SET BY THE OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NUMBER 91 -01 OF SAID BODY, APPROVING SAME, DIRECTING CODIFICATION, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT: Section One: The water rates, hereinafter set forth, as established by the Owasso Public Works Authority, an Oklahoma public trust, having the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, as its bene- ficiary, are hereby adopted, approved and directed to be imple- mented in accordance with the Resolution of the Owasso Public Works Authority, Resolution Number 91 -01 dated the 17th day of December, 1991. Such water rates are as follows: Water Rates (Monthl Al. First 1,000 gallons $6.07 (minimum charge); and 2. Each additional 1,000 gallons $2.44 Bl. First 1,000 gallons $11.47; and 2. Each additional 1,000 gallons $ 4.44 Section Two: The provisions of Part 17-- Utilities, Chapter 1 -- Water, Sewer and Sanitation Systems, Section 17- 109 - -Water Rates shall be amended in the foregoing respects; Section Three: That by reason of the potential loss of revenue to the City, an emergency is hereby declared to exist whereby the provisions of this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication as provided by state law. PASSED this17th day of December, 1991, with the emergency clause ruled upon separately.
