AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 279, APPROVING
ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER OZ -85 CHANGING THE ZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE
14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM RM -2 (RESIDENTIAL
MULTI- FAMILY MEDIUM DISTRICT), OL (OFFICE LOW INTENSITY
DISTRICT) AND CS (COMMERCIAL SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT) TO
RS -3 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE - FAMILY HIGH DENSITY DISTRICT),
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request
for rezoning the property herein described, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the
recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements
for and against the requested rezoning of application OZ -85.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA.
Section 1. That the zoning classification of the following
described property, to wit:
A tract of land lying in the Southeast Quarter (SE /4) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE /4) of Section 29, Township 21 North,
Range 14 East, Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, according to the U.S. Government Survey thereof,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
Southeast corner (SE /c) of the Southeast Quarter (SE /4) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE /4) ; thence West 409 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence West 316.69 feet; thence North 202 feet;
thence East 266.69 feet; thence North 605.25 feet; thence East
540 feet; thence South 605.25 feet; thence West 490 feet;
thence South 202 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
from RM -2 (Residential Multi- Family Medium Density District), OL
(Office Low.Intensity District) and CS (Commercial Shopping Center
District) to RS -3 (Residential Single - Family High Density
District).
Section 2. That all ordinance or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby expressly repealed.
