AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER
OZ-95-04 CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN A

SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA

OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT
COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM AG (AGRICULTURAL) TO IL (LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL), AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and,
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoning of

application OZ-95-04.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT
Section 1. The zoning classification of the following described property, to
wit:
A tract of land is part of the W/2 of the NE/4 of Section 31, Township 21 North,
Range 14 East, City of Owasso, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, said tract of land being
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Starting at the Southeast Corner of the W/2 of the NE/4 of said Section 31, thence
due North along the Easterly line of said W/2 of the NE/4 for 894.32'; thence N
89'41'55" W for 50.00' to the "POINT OF BEGINNING" of said tract of land;
thence continuing N 59 °41'55°° W for 393.50'; thence due South for 332.10'9 thence
S 89'41'55" E for 393.50'; thence due North and parallel with the Easterly line of
said W/2 of the NE/4 for 332.10' to the "POINT OF BEGINNING" of said tract of
land, containing 3.0 acres, more or less
be, and the same is hereby rezoned from AG (Agricultural) to IL (Light Industrial) zoning
district.

Section 20 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and
the same are hereby expressly repealed.

At the May 16, 1995 meeting, the Owasso City Council recommended approval of a rezoning
request from AG (Agriculture) to RS-3 (Residential Single-Family High Density) on an
approximate 100 acre parcel of land located north and west of the northwest comer of E. 116th
Street North and Garnett Road.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 503 which formally adopts the City Council's rezoning
action of May 16, 1995.
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 503.
