SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 567

At the January 20, 1995 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone
property located within the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) and the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of
Section 25, 'T'ownship 21 North, Lange 14 East. The subject property is located south of E.
56th Street North, between N. 129th E. Avenue and N. 145th E. Avenue. This rezoning request
provides for a portion of the underlying zoning necessary for the approval of OPUD-95-01.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 567 which formally adopts the City Council's action of
January 20, 1995, thus rezoning the subject property from RD (Residential Duplex), RS-3
(Residential Single-Family High Density) and RS-2 (Residential Single-Family Medium Density)
to TAM-1 (Residential Multi-Family Low Density).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 567.

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER
OZ -98 -03 CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN
THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW 14) AND THE NORTHEAST
QUARTER (NE /4) OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14
EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM RD (RESIDENTIAL
DUPLEX), RS -3 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE - FAMILY HIGH DENSITY),
AND RS -2 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE - FAMILY MEDIUM DENSITY) TO
RM -1 (RESIDENTIAL MULTI- FAMILY LOW DENSITY), AND
U-) REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
N WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and,
