AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER
OZ-98-07 CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN
A PORTION OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST,
TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM AG (AGRICULTURAL) TO RE
(RESIDENTIAL ESTATES), RS-2 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY
MEDIUM DENSITY), RS-3 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY HIGH

WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the

SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 572
DATE: March 30, 1998
BACKGROUND:
At the March 17, 1998 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone property
located within Section 17, Township 21 North, Range 14 East. The subject property is located
north and west of E. 96th Street North and the Owasso Expressway. The rezoning request
provided for a change in zoning from AG (Agriculture) to CS (Commercial Shopping Center),
OL (Office Light), RS-3 (Residential Single -Family High Density), RS-2 (Residential Single -
Family Low Density), and RE (Residential Estates).
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 572 which formally adopts the City Council's action of
March 17, 1998, thus rezoning the subject property from AG to CS, OL, RS-3, RS-2, and RE.
Staff recommends Council adoption of Ordinance No. 572.
