AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER
OZ-98-11 CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN
SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, ROGERS
COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM AG (AGRICULTURAL) TO RS-2
(RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY MEDIUM DENSITY), RM-2
(RESIDENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY HIGH DENSITY), CS (COMMERCIAL
SHOPPING CENTER), CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been helf regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein descrbed, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the request rezoning of
application OZ-98-11.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT
Section 1. The zoning classification of the following described property, to
wit:

BACKGROUND
At the August 18, 1998 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone property
located within Section 22, Township 21 North, Range 14 East. The subject property is located
north of E 86' Street North, between N 145 ° E. Avenue and 161" E Avenue. The rezoning
request provides the underlying zoning necessary for the approval of OPUD-15.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 591 which formally adopts the City Council's action of
August 18, 1998, thus rezoning the property from AG (Agriculture) to RS-2 (Residential Single -
Family Medium Density), RM-2 (Residential Single -Family High Density), CS (Commercial
Shopping Center), and CG (Commercial General).
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 591.
