WHEREAS, public hearings have been helf regarding the request for rezoning of the property herein descrbed, and, WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the request rezoning of application OZ-98-11. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT Section 1. Cates, City Attorney memorandum TO: THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND COUNCIL CITY OF OWASSO FROM: THERON WARLICK CITY PLANNER SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 591 DATE: August 20, 1998 BACKGROUND At the August 18, 1998 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone property located within Section 22, Township 21 North, Range 14 East. The subject property is located north of E 86' Street North, between N 145 ° E. Avenue and 161" E Avenue. The rezoning request provides the underlying zoning necessary for the approval of OPUD-15. Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 591 which formally adopts the City Council's action of August 18, 1998, thus rezoning the property from AG (Agriculture) to RS-2 (Residential Single - Family Medium Density), RM-2 (Residential Single -Family High Density), CS (Commercial Shopping Center), and CG (Commercial General).
