SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH,
RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM OL (OFFICE
LOW INTENSITY DISTRICT) TO CS (SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT),
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.

WHEREAS, public hearins have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoing of
application OZ-98-12.
NOW, THEREFORE, B E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT
Section 1. The zoning classification of the following described property, towit:

be, and the same is hereby rezoned from an OL (Office Low
Intensity District) to a CS (Shopping Center District) district.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be,
and the same are hereby expresly repealed.

SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 598
DATE: December 9, 1998
BACKGROUND:
At the October 20, 1998 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone
property located within the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(SW/4 SE/4 SW/4) of Section 20, Township 21 North, Range 14 East. The subject property is
unplatted land generally located on E 86th St. N between Bank of the Lakes (12401 E 86 ° St. N)
and Long Office Center (12315 E 86th St. N) containing .653 acres, more or less. The rezoning
request changes the zoning on the subject property from OL (Office Low Intensity District) to
CS (Shopping Center District) in order to allow for commercial development.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 598 which formally adopts the City Council's action of
October 20, 1998, thus establishing the change in zoning designation from OL (Office Low
Intensity District) to CS (Shopping Center District)
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 598.
