ORDINANCE NO. 606
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER
OZ 99-02 CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH,
RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM OL (OFFICE
LOW INTENSITY DISTRICT) TO OM (OFFICE MEDIUM INTENSITY
DISTRICT) AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoning of
application OZ- 99 -02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THAT
Section 1. The zoning classification of the following described property, to wit:
A TRACT OF LAND THAT IS PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW /4) OF
SECTION TWENTY-EIGHT (28), TOWNSHIP TWENTY-ONE (21) NORTH,
RANGE FOURTEEN (14) EAST, OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, TULSA
COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, SAID TRACT OF LAND BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID NW/4; THENCE
SOUTH 0°07'18" WEST ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE OF THE NW /4 FOR A
DISTANCE OF 60.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89°42'44" WEST AND PARALLEL
WITH THE NORTH LINE OF THE SAID NW /4 FOR A DISTANCE OF 547.18
FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE SOUTH 0°15'07" WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF 490.34 TO A POINT;
THENCE NORTH 89°44'53" WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF 837.84 FEET TO A
POINT; THENCE NORTH 0°00'00" WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF 490.87 FEET TO
A POINT; THENCE SOUTH 89 042'44" EAST AND PARALLEL WITH SAID
NORTH LINE FOR A DISTANCE OF 840.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
be, and the same is hereby rezoned from OL (Office Low Intensity District) to OM
(Office Medium Intensity District).
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be,
and the same are hereby expressly repealed.

ORDINANCE NO. 606
February 19, 1999
At the February 16, 1999 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone
property located within the Northwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 21 North, Range 14
East. The subject property is located on the south side of 86' Street N, east of N 129' E Avenue
and contains 9.46 acres, more or less. The rezoning request changes the zoning on the subject
property from OL (Office Low Intensity District) to OM (Office Medium Intensity District).
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 606 which formally adopts the City Council's action of
February 16, 1999, thus establishing the change in zoning designation from OL to OM.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 606.
