AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING APPLICATION NUMBER OZ-99-10
CHANGING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 21
NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, TULSA
COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM RM -1 (RESIDENTIAL MULTI- FAMILY) DISTRICT
AG (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO IL (INDUSTRIAL LOW- INTENSITY)
DISTRICT, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
CV WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and,
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the
Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested rezoning of

SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 621
DATE: October 25, 1999
BACKGROUND:
At the October 19, 1999 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request to rezone property
located within Section 31, Township 21 North, Range 14 East. The subject property is located on
either side of Fifth Avenue and on the west side of Main Street, south of Fourth Avenue, and
contains 30.99 acres, more or less. The rezoning request changes the zoning of the subject property
from AG (Agriculture) District and RM -1 (Residential Multi - Family) District to IL (Industrial Low -
Intensity) District.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 621 which formally adopts the City Council's action of October
19, 1999, thus establishing the change in zoning designation from AG and RM -1 to IL.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 621.
