OPUD 03-01, PROVIDING GUIDELINES FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 25.62 ACRES, LOCATED IN SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY, OKALHOMA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for approval of a Planned Unit Development concerning the property herein described, and, WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the Owasso Planning Commission and all statements for and against the requested approval of OPUD-03-01, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITE' COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA; Section 1. That the zoning map of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma be amended to reflect the supplemental designation of PUD (Planned Unit Development) on the following described property, to wit: A TRACT OF LAND THAT IS PART OF THE EAST HALF (E/2) OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (NE/4) OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE I.B. &M., TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID NE/4; THENCE S 88°44'39" W ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NE/4 A DISTANCE OF 615.14 FEET; THENCE N 14°29'48" W, 5.00 FEET WEST OF AND PARALLEL TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE GRDA EASEMENT RECORDED IN BOOK 3319 AT PAGE 64, A DISTANCE OF 1467.27 FEET; THENCE N 88°44'40" E A DISTANCE OF 947.58 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID NE/4; THENCE S 1 °24'05" E ALONG SAID EAST LINE A DISTANCE OF 1428.27 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID TRACT CONTAINS 25.62 ACRES MORE OR LESS. Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes development upon such tract in accordance with the provisions of the Outline Development Plan submitted with the application, as well as all amendments or modifications thereto, as required by the City Council, same being hereby made a part of such Outline Development Plan and included therewith. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby expressly repealed. At the December 16, 2003 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request from Owasso Land Trust to establish a Planned Unit Development on property located on the 'west side of N. 145'h East Avenue V2mile south of East 116'h Street North, The approval set forth guidelines for a residential develop t. Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 773 that formally adopts the City Council's action of December 16, 2003, RECOMMENDATION. Staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 773.
