AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PART 4, ANIMALS, CHAPTER 1, ANIMAL
REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF OWASSO,
OKLAHOMA, AMENDING SAME BY REPEALING SECTION 4-137 GOVERNING
MONEY OBTAINED FROM THE SALE OF AN IMPOUNDED ANIMAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
THAT,
SECTION ONE (1)a Part Four, Animals, Chapter One, Animal Regulations, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, shall be amended by repealing the following:
The owner of an impounded animal sold as provided herein may claim the excess of the sale price of
the animal above the fees for impounding and keeping the same and a fee of Five Dollars ($5.00) to
reimburse the city for any expense it has had in making the sale, at any time within three (3) months
after the sale. If a claim is so made and approved by the council, the city clerk shall pay him such
A. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict with this ordinance arc hereby repealed to the
extent of the conflict only.
B. If any part or parts of this ordinance are deemed unconstitutional, invalid or ineffective, the
remaining portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
C. The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from the date of final
passage as provided by state law.
D. The City of Owasso Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by repealing section 4 -137, codified
in Part 4, Chapter 1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Owasso.

THIS ORDINANCE AMENDS
PART 4, CHAPTER 1, OF THE
CITY OF OWASSO CODE OF
ORDINANCES BY REPEAL-
ING SECTION 4 -137.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
THAT, TO -WIT:
SECTION ONE (1): Part
Four, Animals, Chapter One,
Animal Regulations, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City
of Owasso, Oklahoma, shall be
amended by repealing the fol-
lowing:
TO BE REPEALED
SECTION 4 -137
OWNER MAY CLAIM
EXCESS MONEY
The owner of an impounded
animal sold as provided herein

SEVERABILITY
B. If any part or parts of this or-
dinance are deemed unconsti-
tutional, invalid or ineffective,

DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
C. The provisions of this ordi-
nance shall become effective

D. The City of Owasso Code of
Ordinances is hereby amended
by repealing section 4 -137,
codified in Part 4, Chapter 1 of
the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Owasso.
