RANGE 14 EAST, TULSA COUNTY,
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO OM OFFICE DISTRICT, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PAR'I'S OF ORDINANCES IN
C0N1FLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held regarding the request for rezoning of the
property herein described, and
WHEREAS, the Owasso City Council has considered the recommendation of the Owasso
Planning Commission and all statements for or against the requested rezoning of application OZ -08-
01,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA.
Section 1. The zoning classification of the following described property, to wit:
A tract of land being part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the lNorLheast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SEA SEA NEA NW /4) in Section Sixteen (16),
Township Twenty -one (21) North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Base and
Meridian, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, according to the U.S. Government Survey
thereof, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast comer of the SEA SEA NEA NWA; Thence southwesterly along a
curve to the left a distance of 161.40 feet to a point being the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block
1 of The Lanes at Coffee Creek, an Addition to the City of Owasso; thence Southeasterly
along the Northeasterly line of The Lanes at Coffee Creek, thence Southeasterly along the
Northeasterly line of The Lanes at Coffee Creek to a point on the East line of the Northwest
Quarter; thence Northerly along the East line of the Northwest Quarter to the Point of
Beginning.
be, and the same is hereby zoned from AG Agricultural District to OM Medium Intensity
Office District.
Section 2. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
Section 3. If any part or parts of this ordinance are deemed unconstitutional, invalid or
ineffective, the remaining portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from
the date of final passage as provided by state law.
Section 5. That there be filed in the office of the County Clerk of Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, a true and correct copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory
hereby annexed.

SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 911
DATE: February 29, 2008
BACKGROUND:
At the February 19, 2008 meeting, the Owasso City Council approved a request (OZ 08 -01)
to rezone property located at 10409 North Highway 169 Service Road. The approval
changed the zoning from AG (Agriculture) to an OM (Medium Intensity Office) Zoning
District following the Planning Commission's approval on January 7, 2008.
Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 911 that formally adopts the City Council's action of
February 19, 2008.
RECOMMENDATION:
The staff recommends Council approval of Ordinance No. 911.
